Another non-wedding entry! Ahaks! 
It's time of the year again when old boys of MCKK took off from their weekend routines to congregate @ their beloved alma mater in Kuala Kangsar for an annual event ; the Old Boys Weekend. Several games were played, witnessing the champions of the yesteryears (ex- & retired champions.. heheh ) took the pitch against the young and fresh blood of the present boys in the name of brotherhood. Though hilarious and at times comical, those old hands still seemed to have what it takes to give the present boys hard time in most of the games…Well, it’s not everyday you can see datuks and tan sris playing just like school-kids, isn’t it?
What made this year’s Old Boys Weekend extra special was the inclusion of the annual Malay College – Vajiravudh College ( MC – VC ) of Thailand friendly rugby tournament into the annual OBW. Novelist Anthony Burgess alias John Burgess Wilson, the English teacher at the College during the mid Fifties, once commented that sports, and rugby in particular, had become an obsession at the institution.( Tan Sri Ahmad Abdullah ). The traditional match between MCKK All Blacks and VC Dancing Thais is an annual tournament whereby each college took turns every other year to host either in Kuala Kangsar or in Bangkok and this year, MCKK played host. How the game turned out? Hmmmmmm….. well, like usual! 
As always, in the evening after the annual dinner, there will be a concert performed by the old boys, present boys and teachers. Playing in bands or singing songs, each year the historical Hargreaves Hall will be ‘forced’ to witness talented and not-so-talented doctors, engineers and lawyers belting out songs to entertain the crowd. Unfortunately this year as the beloved hall is undergoing major renovation works, the night’s concert had to be shifted to our physics’ lab building nearby the hall fronting the Prep School’s field. Nevertheless, everyone still enjoyed the concert under the stars thanks to the Thoroughbreds, a band from the batch of ’86 who played the night’s tune.
It was a fun weekend, but nevertheless tiring! especially as yours truly was involved at the mcobafutsal’05’s promotion booth. Really hoped to go back again in the years to come...

Took place at INTEKMA Resort Shah Alam, it was a fun-filled day with wedding-related businesses occupying the stalls at the mini carnival and workshop participants took the day off to learn a thing or two on everything Gubahan Hantaran. Handled by experienced personnel from both PrimaPersona & Chamida D'Jari Artz, everyone had fun while letting their imagination run wild. At the end of the day, many beautiful arrangements were successfully created which some of the participants couldn't believe that they actually have done it on their own! Heheh..

arghh.. we're leaving todayyy!!! waaaa... is was such a pleasant trip to a country, which is just next door to ours, but yet soooo many interesting places to visit and soooo many things to do within these few days.. never knew it's this interesting! hope i can return next time, of course armed with loads and loads of rupiahs. ahahaha ( i wish! )
me and my wife would like to wish millions of thanks to our most gracious hosts : budi, cupi, angga & aziz. millions of thanks too to our trip mates : cicok, azra, hezz, linda, astra, ross, farah, e-ein . where's next? hahahaa

today, it's just simple shopping at tanah abang, just a few km from our menteng prada. known as a favourite place for tourists to shop everything traditional, it is also well known as a heaven for pick pockets and bag snatchers. boy, we were really holding tight to our bags!
later in the evening, we went to citos ( Cilandak Town Square - according to aziz, our indonesian friend )... a shopping mall quite well known to the city dwellers. the size of Bangsar Shopping Centre but only two floors, it was so crowded with teens and families. we also noticed 'polisi' making their rounds complete with full armoury - gosh it really made me wish there's no terrorist or extremist attack while we were here! budi said its to deter any kind of those attacks to the upper crust of the society or tourists alike.
after dinner at wing dome, i think effa's wish came true. we spotted an actor and an actress of DIA, Randy and Susi. camera shy at first, finally they agreed for a group photo. heh... i wonder who else we might bumped into if we stay here longer ?

third day of the trip..and it's shopping dayyyy!! i know the girls can't wait gila-gila for this day! off we go to bandung!!
we rented 2 kijangs to take us there driven by two experienced supirs. peh.. if you can honk non-stop and take over from the legal right lane or EVEN the emergency lane, then you are an 'experienced' supir here. hehehhe
when we arrived in bandung, there was no plan to visit the volcanoic places like tangkuban perahu. but, since some of us craving for some sight-seeing experiences, all of us dengan selambe rock in our shopping attire braved the chilly mountain and later made way through the dense forest to witness the fantastic breath-taking view of tangkuban perahu mountain and later dip feet in one of the hot water pools from the crates. syookkk!!!
we made our way out of tangkuban perahu quite late and only realized the 'nature trekking' consumed much of our time supposedly for shopping @ bandung. however, i don't feel any regrets! just how many times can you view and place feet on a volcano that once erupted just over 30 years ago?

its a brand new day! good morning jakarta..gosh... tell me about early mornings! here, eventhough the clock only shows its just well past 6, the day is already like 8.00am! we left in the morning for a supposed to be window shopping at manggar dua.
we were told if we need to hail a cab, blue bird group's cabs are the safest. and so, we had our first experience with a blue bird. not bad. they're nicer and friendlier than our local cabbies i can say! we also had the first taste of jakarta's traffic congestion. fuh! dahsyat pak!!! we also had the opportunity to meet one of the sinetron 'Dia' 's actresses, by the name of Fifi. She was mobbed by us like nobody's business and I think she got the shock of her life! ( even our indonesian friends do not know she's a local actress! ) 
wish we could meet more of them!

not contented of having just a single honeymoon, me and effa took off again for our second honeymoon! hahaha.. no lah, it was just a simple vacation with friends… and it was quite nearby too.. jakarta! Hmm.. now I have time to find out why sheila majid was really impressed with Jakarta till she got a song with ‘jakarta’ in it..
our holiday in jakarta were very well taken care by hezra’s wonderful Indonesian friends: budi, cupi, aziz and angga ( did I missed anyone else? ). on the first night we touched down at soekarno hatta airport, we were already treated with one of jakarta’s well known delicacy – Nasi Goreng Gilak! Fuyooo… it was really delicious! ( Azra love it, especially on pronouncing the ‘Gilak’… haha ) But you really have to have it with Teh Botol by Sosro for the extra kick!
later we finally arrived at our apartment hotel, Menteng Prada.. ( quite a ‘branded’ hotel, huh? ) ahahaha.. funny lah the ‘prada’ thing. our apartment was next to the girls' apartment ( Hezra's sister's gang ) ... and ours was the smoke-free zone! hehehehe... luckily the room next door did not trigger the smoke-alarm-detector...
think that’s it for the first day ( or night in this case! )...

thank goddd!!! at last our beloved fotopage is A ok again! fuh! finally ~~ i can upload all the pictures from this series completely! ... actually terbantut half way last week since fotopage tersedak-sedak ni.. hmmm..
this entry supposed to be uploaded last 2 weeks! hehehe...but due to unforeseen circumstances.. its only today the full set of pics can be uploaded... heheh.. actually im still a newbie in portraiture or personal snapshots like this, but i'll continue to improve myself, so please feel free to crit, ok? anyway, the actual product at the end of the day was the best part of this assignment. as shown in the last pic of this entry, the arrangement of several chosen pics was later transferred onto a 2 ft x 2 ft piece of canvas and later mounted onto wooden frame. it really became one of the best gift katik have ever gave to her beloved bf! ( she said it! ) hmmm.. not bad for all the pains running around putrajaya, kan katik? heheheh

actually.. this is an entry which is quite backdated... milliiiiiioooons of apologies to the pengantin! anyway, still pengantin baru riiitee hehehe...
this reception was held by yuriny's family at the family's residence in sri kembangan. it was made meriah especially by the families and relatives who attended ( it was really meriah, and if u dont trust me, look for the pic with the bus background! ), all came to celebrate the union of this happy couple.
congrats again & thank you remy and zila for making pretty peektures part of your happiest day of your lives! looking forward to share more happy moments with the two of u!

i'm baaack!!
thousands of apologies for those who had left voice messages, smses, emails etc enquiring PP's services while I'm away. your enquiries are highly appreciated and shall be given top priority to be attended to. i will get back to all of you as soon as possible, ok!
as i am all excited to upload the pics here, too bad me and my wife were sick as soon as we arrived back in KL, with doctors suspecting it was due to food-poisoning.. so.. only today ( wednesday ) i could gather enough energy to switch on my powerbook to put up an entry... ( sekarang pun feels like my head is spinning around! gosh! )
