katik, im sooo sorry i couldnt upload this entry soon enough. i promise sooooon after i came back this sunday, i'll upload 'em all here.. hehehe
last sunday's assignment was a lil different from the usual. the brief: to create something cherishable for someone she loved... hmmm.. u want to know what it is? what was she doing in putrajaya? and where am i going since i cant upload her pics here? wooops! sorry tak relevant! hehehe.. anyway, it shall be a gift -- her loved one could never forget ( or stop looking at to  )
to remy and zilla, i would also like to apologize for not being able to upload your sri kembangan reception pics as well. i promise u, i will upload them ready for viewing first thing monday morning! hehehe.. in the meantime, happy sorting out the pics! 
to anyone who might want to reach me, i'm sooo sorry as im not being able to receive any calls as i will be in jakarta from today till sunday. ( and yes, since im on my short holiday, i wont be roaming! hehehe ). hope to come back afresh and stocked with loads of ideas for my clients! till next week, chow ciinncauuu....

Life is like a wheel. Sometimes we're up and happy, sometimes we're down and gloomy. I was devastated to receive news that one of my best pals in mckk ( batch 1993-1997 ), anuaruddin mustofa aka oneck had passed away, leaving us all forever. He passed away in Johor Bahru due to some unknown causes.
I was totally distraught and couldn't help but to feel extremely sad. We were quite close since we shared the same dormitory for a few years and we were in the same sports house; Ahmad House. He was our batch's Religious Affairs Advisor ( we called it 'AJK BATCH' ) and he really helped us a lot.He was very active especially in his favorite sports, football. And in the same sports but at a smaller scale in futsal, that both of us met for the very last time -- last year. ( Oneck is standing second from right, in T-shirt no. 15 - his favorite number since form one. We played futsal together for TEAM AWAN DESIGN in 2004 MCOBA Futsal Challenge -- standing (L-R) Nasrul (Bbek), Fairuz (Ayuz), allahyarham, Effirul (Kenit) and ( squatting L-R) Ariff Adry (Bullet) and me )
To all my dear viewers yang beragama Islam, marilah kita bersama-sama sedekahkan Al-Fatihah pada allahyarham, semoga rohnya dicucuri rahmat Allah Yang Maha Esa. Amin..
PS: He left behind a fiancee and a family who totally love and missed him. As I am used to see the happy faces of families, brides and grooms on their wedding day, only God knows how his fiancee and family felt with his sudden departure ahead of his big day... Semoga Allah tabahkan hati mereka. Amin..

this is an entry of a unique wedding reception which i covered last friday, 10th june 2005. it was the reception for norfadzilah yaacob and yuriny adnan by norfadzilah's family at dewan perbandaran mpaj pandan indah. seriously, it was unique! hehehe.. complete with a tempat 'bersemayam' for the pengantins, there were also a gong to mark the beginning of every ceremony and two rebanas in the reception hall, creating an atmosphere of an old malay-heritage type of wedding. well, gongs and rebanas are things you dont quite see in every wedding, dont 'ya?
the reception was full with rituals of the forgotten days of malay traditional wedding( i guess ), so it was very fortunate for me to witness it all. for you guys future pengantins, if you would like your wedding reception to be different from others, do make a point to take a note or two from zilla and remy. hehehe.. betol tak guys?

i also received a good news yesterday - i was informed that my picture is currently being featured in one of UK's top selling photography magazine- digital camera world, june 2005 issue. wow, it was quite shocking to hear the news! i've never expected the pic i snapped while walking to 'design museum' from 'london bridge' will be accepted by the magazine. thanks dcmag!

this is not an official assignment for prettypeektures, as shahrazie or ajie we used to call him is a friend of mine during koleq days. having said that, my fingers were gatal to snap away at the event, and so, terbawaklah jugak cameraku.. ahahaha 
the reception by ajie's family was held at the Kelab Golf Tuanku Jaafar, kuala pilah. off I went with my wifey effa, hezra ( http://hezrahashim.fotopages.com ) and faizi. gosh, speaking of the cuti-sekolah-weekend traffic! the reception was meriah with many-many maaaany ( trust me, many! ) families and friends attending to celebrate the happiest day of ajie's and maya's life.
to ajie and maya... congrats, guys! looks like ajie had to cut down his pc-gadgetry and comics budget after this!
to kimal, joe and un, orang punya majlis tengahari la weii,.. bukan petang!

today, the usual quiet sunday asar prayers in masjid negara was not as quiet as always. relatives and friends of yuriny's and fadzilah's came in tows filling up the mosque's parking space as they were about to witness the unity of two souls, yuriny adnan and norfadzilah yaacob whom will be diijabkabulkan in this very special mosque. cheerful faces of families and glittering trays of hantarans all fired up the occasion, making it a memorable one for the couple...
like usual, the khutbah nikah was read and later, the akad nikah was smoothly carried out. then, the groom handed over a unique gold scroll cover resembling the ‘mahar’ to the bride ( hoped I got this right.. guys, help me out here! heheheh ). later, everyone congratulated them and hantaran pictures were taken all one by one. not wasting a single second, both bride and groom took this opportunity to photograph themselves with their families and friends.
after all the relatives and friends had been whisked away to the bride’s residence in cheras for dinner, we had a few minutes’ space to pose around the mosque for the album. thank god this couple is camera friendly, natural and adaptive to the surrounding. eventhough time was not on our side, we still managed to capture a few good shots around the mosque, before it got too dark. no nice sunset though, then it would be perfect for the album...
as the day settled down, it shall be great to cover their wedding this upcoming Friday and Sunday. watch out for more pics of this great couple here. but for now, enjoy these pics! cheers!
p/s: rasanye lepas ni more pengantins are interested to have their nikah at masjid negara.. sebab boleh bergambar lepas tu! hahaha

it was a peaceful and quiet saturday morning in kangar, very contrary to the accustomed noise and chaos of everyday kl. at this small town of perlis, an entourage of halim shah's family members is busy preparing themselves for the meminang ceremony scheduled at 10am at the bride-to-be’s uncle residence in taman repoh, 5 minutes away from downtown kangar. nasib baik the mengantuk from last nite’s driving does not create any problem to me to click away on the exultant day for the couple.
precisely at 10am, the entourage arrived at taman repoh with the groom-to-be lead the way. discussions among others touched on deciding the date for the big day, wang hantaran and many others. later on, the couple took the opportunity to record their big day by photographing with families and friends.
to both halim and diyana, I hoped everything goes well during this ‘challenging’ period and wish all the best in u guys’ preparations. cheers!

halim or among our circle of friends 'helem' is one of my best buds since our school days. during koleq days, who could forget the 'fly' to ipoh trips, 'lole' to 'station' for late suppers and many other 'exuberant' moments! hehehe.. then both of us also went to the same U, which is somewhere in skudai ( ahahaha ). gosh, it was totally opposite the previous 5 years! anyway, he is now an engineer in perodua and an active member of mcoba ( yeke active? heheh  ). happy preparing for the big day, dude.. and remember, now u always have someone more 'experienced' to seek advice.. ahaha

This wedding was held last week on the 29th of May 2005 in Taman Dagang, Ampang. 'Nikah' was held in the morning while later in the rainy afternoon, there was a reception by the bride's side. I've never came across a newly-wed couple soooo malu to kiss for the first time like this couple! Ahahaha... ( sekarang dah tak malu kot ek? ). The reception was truly made possible by the coordination of Zuriena's siblings, whom worked so hard throughout the event. Well done guys!
